I know that staying away from others for a few weeks is going to get us all very antsy. I wanted to write up some work outs and activities you could do for the next few weeks that will help boost your immune system, get you in shape and also keep you busy. Practice self care during stressful time.

Do a quick Yoga routine when you wake up:
- stand up tall, stretch you hands up
- lean back slightly (sun salutation)
- forward fold and reach for your your toes
- walk your hands out into downward dog
- push up into cobra
- lean back into child’s pose
- push up to cat/cow

Try to do one of these a day:
Go on a walk
Go on a run
Ride your bike
Ride your skate board
Roller blade
Take your dog on a walk at the beach

Alternate which days you choose to do Arms, Core, and Legs.

25 jumpies (jump squats)
20 squats
15 sumo squats
10 calf raises
5 tuck jumps

30 sec forward plank
30 sec right side plank
30 sec left side plank
30 sec leg lifts (lay down, sit on hands, raid legs up and down)
20 crunches
30 sec Russian twists

20 push ups
20 star jumps
20 jumping jacks
20 mountain climbers
30 sec Arm circles (repeat for forward and backwards)

Aim to do something creative each day:
Knit/ crochet
Hand write a letter for a friend
Make something with clay
Bake something
Re-organize/ arrange your room
Practice your instrument

I hope these give you a few ideas of how you can keep busy while you are stuck at home for the foreseeable future. I’ll post a few other ideas as they come to me over the next few weeks.

As always, wash your hands a lot! Try to avoid large crowds, and contact your doctors the second you feel ill.

Hopefully we will be able to get out in the water soon, it may be a few weeks delayed but that just means it will be warmer water for us.
